Hypnosis, when properly applied, is an invaluable tool for relieving stress, enhancing emotional stability, increasing focus, improving memory, eliminating destructive behavior (i.e. smoking, food binging, drug and alcohol abuse, etc). Too many “professional” hypnotists are under-educated, and through their ignorance cause more harm than good. By learning the mechanisms and functions of hypnosis before learning the methods of induction the student can better choose for him or her self the conscious, progressive language that is necessary for producing positive, fulfilling and lasting results.
